An upstate New York casino is set to be developed by the Oneida Indian Nation near Syracuse, while the tribe announced this week it will spend up to $50 million on building a 65,000 sq ft gambling venue that will use 200 people on a permanent foundation.

Named the purpose Put Casino, the resort are going to be located in Bridgeport, a tiny city that borders Oneida Lake. The casino is going to be just a short drive that is 15-mile Syracuse, the fifth most populated city within the Empire State with approximately 150,000 residents.
The Oneida Nation says the facility will have 500 slot machines and 20 table games, as well as two fast-service casual restaurants in a press release. The floor shall be smoke-free, and alcohol will be served. There are not any intends to create a hotel.
The Native American group is building aim put on its own sovereign land, so no approval from the state or federal government is needed for construction to commence.
The Oneida Nation says construction will start month that is next and the casino is scheduled to start into the spring of 2018.
